Cocktails to Go Highlights

New Laws Going into Effect July 1

Following the 2025 General Assembly Session and signatures on the bills by Gov. Glenn Youngkin, several ABC-related laws have gone into effect on July 1.

Among the laws signed was the removal of the sunset clause for cocktails to go, making it a permanent privilege for qualified licensees in Virginia.

VAL How-To Guides, Videos Available

The Virginia ABC Licensing (VAL) System enables licensees to complete online transactions on behalf of their business.

After creating an account and syncing your licenses, you can complete licensing tasks, conduct financial transactions and track your required training all from the convenience of your computer.
