The General Assembly worked tirelessly this week, gearing up for “Budget Sunday” on February 2, when each house will present its version of the budget to the public. While action on bills without financial components has slowed down temporarily in order to finalize the budget in time, Session itself shows no signs of slowing down. Tuesday, February 4, marks Crossover for the 2025 Session. This is the point at which all bills that have passed their body of origin, will crossover to the opposite body in order to be considered.
