EFFECTIVE TODAY: VIRGINIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODES BOARD REPEALS COVID-19 PERMANENT STANDARD
On Monday, March 21st the Virginia Health and Safety Codes Board voted 6-0 to repeal the COVID-19 Permanent standard. Today, this repeal became effective upon its publication in the Richmond Times-Dispatch of the public notice.
Virginia Retail Federation, along with the Coalition for a Strong Virginia Economy, has advocated on behalf of its members that a permanent regulation is not the solution to this problem.
With the repeal of the permanent regulation now in effect, the Youngkin Administration has created a Workplace Guidance Document that can be used as a best practices guideline for businesses in Virginia.
